Recess…

4 days without my family {I spent this past weekend in Tallinn at a Women’s Conference}, a bright sunshiny day, a great husband who did the laundry and dishes…I decided to join the kids at recess!!!

I love my family, IA, great friends, sunshine…I have so much to be thankful for!!!

More S’Mores!!!

International Day…

FACEBOOK STATUS~I have a new found respect for teachers everywhere {but especially IA!!!}...I "worked for 86 minutes today in a class {"teaching" how to make smores} and was so famished and exhausted afterwards...I ate an entire pizza, slept 2 hours and am just regaining my strength as I finish off a King Sized Daim bar and a hot cup of tea!!! Thank you teachers for all you do!!! I did have a blast getting to hangout with all the great people of IA today...HAPPY INTERNATIONAL DAY!!!

Finland…With The Skinners!!!

Preparations…for only 18 hours of celebrating, feasting, playing and catching-up {and 10 hours in traffic and boarder crossing}!!!

I am so thankful for all the technology that makes road trips, traffic and boarder crossings a little less torturous!!!

Celebrating with the Skinners made it all worth it!!!

Finland is so fun, relaxing and gorgeous!!!  I am so thankful for a night in a fabulous cabin, amazing friends…that feel more like family, grass, kids playing in the street…safely, laughter, memories!!!

A FIRST~On the way home we picked up our first ever hitchhikers!!!  A tour bus had broken down at the boarder and an older couple asked us for a ride back to Saint Peterburg.  They were first loves in school, were separated when he joined the army and reconnected 33 years later!!!  He is a Neurologist and she is a Social Worker in the biggest Psychiatric Residential Center in Russia.  They bought us chocolates and gave us money for the ride {which made me feel less bad for spending so much money at the fabulous Finnish grocery store}!!!

Future Gymnasts???

Whether they will be future Gymnasts is yet to be determined, but one thing is for sure…they will have a blast doing…and will win awards for most silly!!!

K Turns 7!!!

Emme’s friend, classmate and fellow gymnast turned 7 today and had a fabulous party to celebrate!!!
