Tonight began Upward Basketball Season!!!
Emme is on the Bell Cheerleading Squad.
And Gid is a Wolf!!!
I am thankful that they practice at the same time but it gave me a bit of a workout going between the 2 locations capturing all of the excitement!!!
Cheerleading was sooo funny and cute!!!
The coaches were amazing…very organized, fun and soooo patient!!!

Today was the second day of school cancelation due to the weather. I was determined to return to life as planned, eve though temps this morning were in the single digits!!! We headed to the mall for the Village Mommies Playdate.
Then to a friend’s home for coffee and chocolate…and a mini concert and lots of laughs!!!
And eventually…home.
What a great day!!!
Granny gave me the best ever brownie pan. It cooks individual brownies perfectly!!!
You pour in the batter, insert the form and bake.
30 minutes later, you have fabulous, individual brownies!!!

Breakfast…Emme changed clothes sooo many times today. I think she makes it her mission to exhaust me!!!
I was sooo thankful for the Wii today!!!
From costumes to swimming suits….you never know what she will wear!!!
After a million wardrobe changes…she decided clothes would be optional!!!
I am still wondering how this could be a comfortable position to sip your drink?
I am out of ideas and out of energy!!! Is 6pm to early for bed???
Emme asked to wear Gid’s Mr. Incredible costume tonight to Church and I could not think of a reason why not!
My dear friend, Sheila, gave birth to a darling baby boy, Samuel Eric and we celebrated tonight at the Victorian Tea Room in Guthrie.
The food food and fellowship were fabulous!

I am sooo thankful for a fabulous Christmas Break, but am rejoicing that school is back in session!!!
Keith spoke at the Life Impact Conference for College Students today in Norman. I love listening to him share and enjoyed reconnecting with some old friends.
A hotel always provides great entertainment for the kids.
And finally after not stop chatter, making many new “Best Friends” and completely exhausting everyone around her, Emme finally feel asleep!!!
Tomorrow school resumes…PTL!!!
My new project…a picture a day, each and every day..has moved to its very own blog, What A Treasure. Someday, I would like to be referred to as a real photographer and have my own photography business…What A Treasure! After reviewing, editing, saving and deleting memories from the last 10 years of our lives, I want to improve my limited skill, expand my vision and learn to capture moments in time that will become true treasures. I will continue to blog about the adventures of our lives here, but will post a picture a day every day this year at What A Treasure. I really do want to improve my photography ability and would love to hear your thoughts, encouragement…or even constructive criticism! ;-)
After almost 2 weeks of vacation bliss, we are headed home and back to reality!

Jill is one of my dearest friends. She is always challenging me, encouraging me and is always available for a little friendly competition! Her newest venture 365…a picture a day for a year. I have spent the last 3 days buried in pictures. I am attempting to edit, organize and save all of our pictures after going digital in 2001…over 35,000 pictures!!! So, I am reposting this picture, which I took at 12:01 today and is one of only 3 pictures I took after midnight at our New Year Eve celebration!!! Tomorrow I will be more intentional!!!
