Gid Turns Double Digits!!!
After planning Gid’s Birthday Party on Saturday, we discovered he was sick on Sunday!!! With 5 days until the the Celebration, we put all of our energy into getting Gideon well. A trip to the doctor, immediately beginning antibiotics, giving him plenty of fluids, sprays, pills, creams, rest, protein shakes and extra vitamin C, his fever still lasted 3 days, his mouth broke out in sores, his gums swelled, but Friday he returned to School and the party proceeded on schedule.
He invited a few boys from School to celebrate at Happylon, a fabulous play place. Many of the boys in Gid’s class, have little sister’s in Emme’s class, so we included everyone!!!

There were lots of games…
I made from scratch strawberry, peppermint, chocolate and chocolate mocha cupcakes and we had a cupcake feast!!!
Gid loved getting to end the fun with presents!!!
After so much fun, sugar, gifts and celebrating, Emme came home and asked, “When are you making Birthday cake? We only had cupcakes!!!”
And Gid was ready for more gifts!!! We are so proud of Gid and thrilled we could celebrate turning double digits with such great friends!!!
