Dr. Gideon....

Dr. Gideon is back in business!

Pink Eye....

In 3 weeks, we have been to the doctor 6 times for 4 different illnesses...I think this a record!!!

ME woke-up this morning with pink eye! Fortunately, we had spent the night in Moscow and the doctor's office was on our way out of town. In 20 minutes, we had seen the doctor, got our prescription and were on the road headed to Yaroslavl! Kristie tried to take a picture, but it really doesn't show the redness or puffiness. However, you can see that she still has her great smile! Please pray ME's eye heals quickly and doesn't spread to the rest of the family!!!

We are so thankful to be home! Kristie has already started to work on the laundry---fun, fun!!! At least, she can reward herself with a peanut butter kit-kat when she is finished!

We had a great time celebrating our friend, Olga's birthday and recent engagement to Aaron Popkes. Rachel hosted us and we had lots of yummy food and two fabulous cakes! Thanks Rachel for your hospitality!!! Happy Birthday Olga and CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Airport Fun...

Praise the Lord, ME seems to be doing better. Even though we were prepared to deal with bodily fluids, we are soo thankful that we did not have to!!! We had a great flight and fun playing in the airports playroom while we waited for Keith to get our car and bags. Thanks for your prayers!

Pray for Mary Elizabeth...

Please pray for Mary Elizabeth. She is now sick!!! In the past 3 weeks, we have dealt with coughs, running noses, strep throat, rash, scarlet fever...and now diarrhea and throw-up!!! Please pray that ME would not be sick on the flight and we would make it safely to Moscow. Thanks!!!

The Last Day of Class...

Today was the last day of class and we have to say good-bye to all of our new friends, our hotel room, maid service, eating out, and all the fun we have had the past 3 weeks. We are sad to go, but are looking forward to going home and sleeping in our own beds. Thank you for praying for praying for our time in Prague! We had a blast!

The Piston Cup!!!!

Gideon was so excited to make his pinewood race car and race against his friends. They all won trophies and had a blast!!!

Ladies Lunch...

Gideon-ism...

Kristie and Gideon were out walking and they past a dog (there are lots of dogs here). Gideon asked, "Mommy, can I have a dog?" Kristie asked what kind of dog he would like. He replied, "An ORANGE one!!!"

Bus Schedule...

Prague is such a nice, clean city! They have wonderful public transportation and even have a posted schedule of when the buses will arrive! In Yaroslavl, we have to just wait at the stop until a bus comes---it may be 2 minutes or 25 minutes!!!

Gideon...

Gideon is on the mends...praise the Lord! Today, his rash and fever are gone and he asked to go back to his class. Hopefully, he will make it the whole day. Please continue to pray that Gideon and ME would be healthy and full of laughter and joy our last few days in Prague.

We return to Russia on Saturday morning and will spend the night with friends in Moscow and return to Yaroslavl on Sunday. Please pray that the kids are healthy and we have a safe, peaceful flight home and a great time with our friends.

Scarlet Fever...

Gideon has scarlet fever! Please pray that he will be comfortable and heal quickly. Please also pray that ME and the other kids will stay healthy. Also, pray that Kristie and Gideon would find fun things to do in the hotel room.

This is our last week in Prague and our energy is diminishing. Pray our final week will be fun, relaxing, enjoyable and all that God wants it to be.

Playground Fun...

We had a great time playing on the playground and even made a new Czech friend, Laura.

We had a great time touring the Prague Castle. ME also loved sharing her snack with the pigeons!

Birthday Cake!!!

ME's friend, Barnabas, turned 2 today and they got to celebrate with yummy carrot cake!!! Happy Birthday Barnabas!!!

Gideon has had a great week...

Gideon's class has been really busy. On Monday, they went to Sea World. We asked Gideon what kind of fish he saw and he said "BIG!!!"

On Wednesday, they went to the zoo. We asked Gideon what he saw at the zoo and he said, "COCK ROACHES!!!"

Shoeless...

ME's first task in her class is to remove her shoes and socks. She loves to be barefoot. It has become a chore for us to make her keep her shoes on. When we come to the room after breakfast to brush our teeth, we will usually find ME on the floor taking off her shoes.
