This past week, I have spent a great deal of time remembering, looking through photo albums and rejoicing at the many blessings that have filled my life. This was our engagement photo, taken over 10 years ago!!! During one of our many digs through Keith’s parent’s shed, I found that belt. Let’s just say that a lot has changed over the last 10 years…including my waste size!!!

After 12 hours of sleep, a huge cup of coffee and a fabulous breakfast, I am still in a fog. I did get out my fun new lens and flash, but did lacked desire. It was great for Granny and Grampy to see the kids in action!!!

After a long, difficult day…knowing that both the kids and mommy needed a distraction and the week would be busy and full of sadness…we opened the box 3 days early!!!

Emme cheered at Gid’s game today…and I was ready with my new lens and flash!!! I snapped over 400 pictures during a 45 minute game…I don’t even want to do the math or think about the scene I probably created. I deleted over half because of quality and an additional 100 due to bad photography. I am loving all of my new accessories, but am sooo thankful that there are 8 more games to give me lots more practice!!!
My birthday is this Thursday!!! I love Birthdays…especially my own!!! :-) I love cake, celebrating, relaxing, a great reason to go out to dinner…but mainly a perfect excuse to not have to cook!!!
Keith took me to my favorite camera store last weekend and let me pick out a new lens…which also required a new flash and camera bag. My totally sweet husband agreed, as he mumbled something about not buying me another present for the rest of my life…which I totally ignored, as I kissed him, grabbed the credit card and suggested he go get something to drink.
I was totally surprised today to get a box in the mail!!! Since this very well may be the last gift I ever get to open…I can not decide whether to wait 5 days and open it on my Birthday or open it now?!?
