Medieval Birthday Celebration…

Facebook Party Update

I may not be able to create a cake master piece, but I am an amazing party planner!!! I have checked off everything on my list, created a Tournament of Events {Schedule}, organized costumes, lances, swords, shields, dragons, castles, a Medieval feast, a First Aid Station! I have showered, put on make-up {WOW!}, drank coffee, watched a little bit of a movie and still have 1 1/2 hours to spare and update FB with my ridiculous thoughts!!! BTW~Before you get to impressed with my Medieval madness...it is really not as amazing as it sounds on FB, but with no access to Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby, shipping from Party-in-a-Box...I am pretty impressed!!!

A Shopping Adventure…

I almost never go shopping in Saint Pete with no list…no mission…no goal.  Today, I had an an hour between meetings and decided I would just wander through some stores.  I found a little craft wall in one of my favorite book stores.  There was a good selection of colored paper and some fun little “Hobby Lobby-ish” things…even colored tape.  I learned that a new Burger King will be opening up on the Island where we live.

Smiled when I saw a sign saying, “You can buy Dr Pepper here!”

Birthday Dinner!!!

After a stressful couple of days, Gid went to the last few hours of class, I got a clear answer to a prayer concern and we are celebrating Gid's fabulous life at our favorite restaurant. Praying Gid has an amazing 12th year!
