AND HIS WANNA-BE LITTLE SIS!!! I am home all alone today...SICK!!! I am never sick and was shocked when I woke-up in the middle of the night nauseated. Keith took the kids to school (PTL for preschool!!!) and I will try to get at least one or two things checked off my to~do list...if I can get out of bed long enough!
Kristie, Your book question. I really didn't LOVE The Memory Keepers Daughter it was pretty depressing....had affairs, and just a messed up family that really wasn't fun to read. I learned some and took some from the book but overall I wouldn't recommend it as a fun read. I did really like Snowflower and the Secret Fan. There is one part in the book that is kinda hmmmm whoa but the rest of the book is really really good. Did you read Memoirs of a Geisha? Snowflower is very similar. Last year I read Peace Like a River and that was a REALLY GOOD book. The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency Series are also pretty fun and a fast read...I know lots of people that enjoyed them. It sounds like you are looking for a relaxing novel type book not a serious read so those are the ones I would recommend. A lot of the other ones I read this year are heavy or thinking books not fast reads. Oh I did enjoy Till We Have Faces by CS Lewis...that is a fast read but then you kinda jump back and reflect. IT is a novel not a theology book. Oh I gotta run baby is crying. I am enjoying Memoirs of a Boy Soilder there is a link on my blog....it is just an emotionally draining book. Hope that helps
The journey of the 4 Sullivans began over 14 years ago and often resembled the life of nomads. The majority of our journey has been in Russia…learning the language, loving the people and sharing the hope found only in a relationship with Jesus Christ. We currently call Saint Petersburg home and love being able to share the great love of Christ with those around us.
After graduating from New Mexico State University, Keith was a missionary in Penza, Russia. Kristie graduated from Oklahoma State University and became a Recreational Therapist in Galveston, Texas. Keith and Kristie met and married while attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

Words of Wisdom
Streams In The Desert is a daily devotional book that has ministered to me tremendously. I have included many excerpt in my Blog to encourage me and remind me that His mercies are new every morning, His grace is sufficient and His love never fails!!! I want to give full credit to the original writers and special thanks to Jim Reimann, the editor.
