OK, it is not really dramatic and probably only even interesting to a stay at home mom that has stayed at home with two kids way to long and is in much need of adult conversation!!!
Our landlord sent two really nice electricians over last night and they worked for 2 1/2 hours repairing the electricity. At one point, they had to turn all of the lights off in the house, so the kids were able to have a candle lite bath---which was really fun, until we heard a little explosion and smelled smoke!
Praise the Lord, they were able to get all of the appliances working, I was able to do some more laundry and Keith came home early with take-out pizza!!!

Kristie,
You just brought back so many memories for me. In 1997 our apartment flooded in Moscow, which knocked out the electricity in the kitchen. I remember having to run all of our kitchen appliances, including fridge and stove, from an extension cord in another room. It took them 6 months to finally get everything worked out! Those were the days!
Honestly, things haven't changed that much. Right now we have a toilet dismantled in our upstairs bath. Some kind of a gasket problem. The repairman left on Wednesday for a part, and we still haven't seen or heard from him.
I'm glad ME's arm is ok, and that you were able to get your laundry done. What an adventure!
