Shout of Joy!

God is so faithful to meet our needs! ME shouted when we purchased toilet paper at the grocery..."WOW! Toilet Paper! Now I don't have to be scared anymore!" Life is never boring with ME around! Yeah for toilet paper!!!

It Runs In The Family...

Gideon is developing independence and poured his own syrup this morning. I tried not to overreact when I saw a plate full of syrup and an empty syrup bottle, thinking that Grampy would have used even more syrup. Little did I know the stock market would make the hugest drop in history this afternoon...I should have recycled the syrup!!!

While I Am Waiting

I love music, even though my knowledge regarding songs and musicians is non-existent and our music collection is extremely dated! However, during the movie, Fireproof, I almost cried as I heard the song "While I Am Waiting" by John Waller. It was as though he knew our circumstances and wrote this song for us. Since the movie, I have listened to several of his songs and love his music! You can listen to "While I Am Waiting" and a few other song's by John Waller at MySpace.

Serve, worship and be faithful with what you have, where you are… “even while you wait.”

The Words to "While I Am Waiting"

I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait

I will move ahead, bold and confident
Taking every step in obedience

While I’m waiting
I will serve You
While I’m waiting
I will worship
While I’m waiting
I will not faint
I’ll be running the race
Even while I wait

I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it’s not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait

I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting
I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting
I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting on You, Lord

Fashion Statement!?!

ME must now pack her backpack before leaving the house. I asked her today what she had in her backpack and she said, "I don't know?" It was stuffed completely full!!!

Do you think ME is a candidate for "What Not To Wear"?

Happy Birthday Riley!

We spent the afternoon celebrating Riley's 4th Birthday! It was fun making tutus and building airplanes. ME, however, turned her tutu into an Indian headdress...what a rebel!!! Thanks Melissa and Riley for a great afternoon!!!

Birthday Breakfast!

This morning we went to Jimmy's Egg for a yummy Birthday breakfast and the final Birthday celebration for the 4 Sullivans for this year!!!

Digital photography and the Internet are so fabulous that, even though ME changes her clothes 2 or 3 or even 4 times a day, she just said, "WOW, I am wearing that shirt and look Gideon you have on the same shirt too!!!"

Fireproof

Tonight, Village Baptist Church hosted an Opening Night Celebration of Fireproof. They provided free childcare, dinner at Chick-fil-A and free tickets to the movie.

We all had a blast! The kids loved joining their friends and dedicated, childcare volunteers for pizza, games, popcorn and cartoons. While Keith and I loved the
movie and getting to meet so many fun couples! We highly recommend going to see Fireproof showing now at Quail Springs in OKC!!!

Pajama Party!!!

Gideon went to school today in his PJs!!! Today the Kindergartners had a Pajama Party to inspire their love for reading...Bedtime Stories!!! Each teacher read a book to the class, then they had snacks that related to the stories and repeated the process in the next class. I was thrilled to get to be a helper today!!! I got to meet a few mom's, including Furious' mom, and Gideon's classmates. I also had a chance to chat with Miss Cook and she said that Gideon is doing great and she has seen lots of progress!!! The first three kids below sit at Gid's table!

It Is Official...

It is official...we have entered the World of Fund Raising!!! No, we have not gotten a job with Otis Spunkmeyer, but have been temporarily recruited by the Ridgeview Rams to sell pre-portioned, ready-to-bake, no measuring, mixing or mess, best ever, just like homemade cookies!!! Please do not run when you see us coming or hide in the closet when you see us at your front door, because we might be bringing you cookies...not trying to sell you cookies!!! However, if Gideon sells $300 worth of cookies, he will get a hampster...I will try to make sure we DO NOT sell more than $300 worth of cookies!!!

Welcome Home ME!!!

You will be glad to know ME has returned from her Castle. She said that it was gorgeous, her friends loved their snacks and now they must rest. After tucking her friends into her bed, she (with great encouragement from Gideon) took the Neste Plunge off our couch and the pretended to be Superwoman...leaping couches and coffee tables in single bounds!!! I do not know where she gets her energy, but I wish it ran in the family!!!

Bye ME!

ME is going away to her Castle. She packed her backpack...including clothes and snacks for her 3 friends, Panda, Dog and Sasha. She said that I could come visit her and thankfully was willing to pose for a Good-Bye picture!!! We love you ME and will miss you!!!

Life...

I finally got my hair cut after 6 months!!! It is a long story, but someone told me of a Russian who cuts hair in Edmond. I have been planning on having my sister cut my hair, but I am a poor planner and she is always booked! So, I went to Olga. I was so excited to meet her and her mom, who also works at the same salon, that I put no thought into my hair! She just started chopping and my brain was busy trying to process Russian, 15 minutes and $37 later (I am glad it has been 6 months!!!) we were saying good-bye. My hair basically looks the same, but dries faster because of the few layers she cut. She also informed me that I desperately needed to color my hair. After inquiring of the price (minimum $75) I decided to stick with my $5 box of color!!!

Miss Cook has returned to school and Gideon got his clippy moved for the first time for real!

-isms...

Mommy: "ME...what are you doing?"
ME: "Eating boogers! They are good! Do you want to try one?!?"

Mommy: "Gideon...why do you call me Kristie, but you call Keith, Dad?"
Gideon: "I call you Kristie in the morning and Mommy at night."
ME: "He calls you Kristie because that is your middle name and Mommy is your last name."
Mommy: "Well, then what is my first name?"
ME: "I don't know!"

The Season Kick-Off For The Fighting Crocodiles!!!

Today was the season opener for the Fighting Crocodiles, staring Parks Phillips...lucky number 7!!! Parks was cheered on to victory (or at least we claim victory, since no official score was kept!) by the entire Phillips clan!

Parents, Troy and Jill Phillips, anxiously watch as the Fighting Crocs display their technique, skill and team spirit!

His fans surrounded him for a post game victory celebration!!!

OK...I know I will never be a famous sports writer, but I had a great time anyways!!!
