Wow! What a neat opportunity for your family. Both my in laws and my parents have traveled to Russia and loved it. My parents are actually going back in August to see more cities.

So I have to say that even if I don't win, this has been fun just to go see blogs of other people! I grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from OBU and OU (PT school) but we now live in Georgia. It is always fun to meet someone else who lived in Oklahoma... you kind of feel like you have a connection! :) Anyways, I really enjoyed looking at your blog and will probably put it in my favorites. And also, please enter me in your giveaway,... it sounds fun! Thanks and have a great day! yarbbenlori@bellsouth.net

:) My husband and I are both missionary kids, and I have to say, we both loved it. (Not all of it, but most of it.) Growing up knowing firsthand about God's provision, living in another culture, and having our family be so much our primary source of people interaction made for one amazing childhood. I'm so glad to be an MK, and I bet your kids are loving it too. :)

And great contest! please count me in!

peace of Christ to you,
Jessica Snell

I would love some treats from Russia! I went on a mission trip to Ukraine years ago, and I remember so many little treats that were given to us.

If you happen to have a good Borscht recipe, send it my way! I've also been looking for the bread they greeted us with at every school, that we dipped in salt. It was so good, my mouth is watering just remembering it!
