When Gideon asked me to buy him a pair of tights, I must confess that I was very concerned about my son wearing girl's tights!!! I shared my feelings with the moms in the playroom at Church and their response was, "He doesn't have any tights!!! He needs to wear tights to keep warm!!!" I thought that was what long johns were for!!! All the little boys in preschool wear tights and now so does Gideon!!! He was so happy to have his own pair of $1.25 tights. I guess when in Russia, do as the Russians!!!
What about a cowboy in tights!?!?

One of JP's favorite movies is "Nacho Libre". It's got a lot of a great lines.
There is a line from the movie that says, "When you are a man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants in your room. It's for fun."
This post reminded me of the movie.

I'm the other way around. I just thought it was normal for little boys to wear tights. Then I was visiting an American friend, and she loaned me an outfit for Jaan: "Here, shirt, pants, socks. . . what else do you need?" I asked for tights, and she just about had a fit! :-)
