Tonight, we are taking the night train to Saint Pete for our first family trip since September! We are all so excited to get to see the Skinners and the kids are so looking forward to riding on the train! Please pray that we would have a safe, fun trip and that we would not totally exhaust the Skinners! Pictures are from our previous trip to St. Pete in 2006.
Hey, Kristie. I'm happy that y'all are getting away for some fun. I'm also going to pray for a safe trip. I'm catching up with your bloggy news and have discovered that I missed your birthday. I'm so sorry; but it does sound that you had your very special day, though. My sweet daughters birthday was also on the 18th. She has three boys, and we are always having wonderful family "memory making" times. And yes, I do know that your family miss and love y'all much, much. And they think of you everyday. My son in law is a methodist pastor/minister. They are to be going to another church this June. Their new location will be a drive of about four hours from our home. We have been blessed to have them just a 15 minute drive down the road for the last several years. We will miss them terribly, going from seeing those boys almost daily, to seeing them when we can. My husband and I, like your family I'm sure, are so proud of you guys. WHEREVER HE LEADS, I'LL GO. And I know that if my children ever feel that tug to go to another country, they will go. And for this, I say, praise God for children who love Him will answer His call. God bless you and your sweet family, kristie.
The journey of the 4 Sullivans began over 14 years ago and often resembled the life of nomads. The majority of our journey has been in Russia…learning the language, loving the people and sharing the hope found only in a relationship with Jesus Christ. We currently call Saint Petersburg home and love being able to share the great love of Christ with those around us.
After graduating from New Mexico State University, Keith was a missionary in Penza, Russia. Kristie graduated from Oklahoma State University and became a Recreational Therapist in Galveston, Texas. Keith and Kristie met and married while attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
Gideon
Gideon was born September 3, 2001 in Fort Worth, Texas and moved to Russia at the age of 6 months. Gideon obtained his passport at the age of 1 month and has been to over 15 different countries. He is now in Junior High at International Academy of Saint Petersburg. He loves life, being with his family and playing the Wii!!!
Mary Elizabeth
Mary Elizabeth answers to Emme and was born in Enid, Oklahoma in May 2005. She moved to Russia at the age of 5 months and is in the 4th Grade at the International Academy.Emme loves horses and wants to be a Vet!
Words of Wisdom
Streams In The Desert is a daily devotional book that has ministered to me tremendously. I have included many excerpt in my Blog to encourage me and remind me that His mercies are new every morning, His grace is sufficient and His love never fails!!! I want to give full credit to the original writers and special thanks to Jim Reimann, the editor.
