ME is only 3, so thoughts of having any discussion about boys, relationships and intimacy were not something I had even consider discussing with her. At RA Camp, surrounded by boys, she made a friend, Caleb. ME feel in love with Caleb, even though she could not remember his name and would refer to him as her orange boy or white boy...depending on what he was wearing that day. When she would see him, she would run to be with him...one day even running out of the cafeteria after him!!! Caleb was a very kind and thoughtful boy and comes from a wonderful family (I made a point to meet his mother on parents night!!!) and has 3 little brothers and sisters. He was very sweet to ME and I must say very tolerant too! She would hold his hand, give him hugs and sat by him at worship the last night of camp. I was totally distracted as I sat behind them and monitored every move she made. I kept saying to myself and those around me, "Look at her! Surely, this is not what it looks like...she is only 3!!!" Honestly, I was glad camp ended and we had to say good-bye to Caleb! We love Caleb, but I am not ready for my 3 year old to love him too!!!
