Life With ME...

ME likes to talk. She really likes to talk on the phone. Thankfully, we currently have unlimited long distance. So, she can talk to whoever she wants (in the Contentintial USA) for as long as she wants. I was watching a movie and she brought me the phone and asked how to dail Granny. I told her and returned to my hynotic-movie-state...not thinking about ME, Gideon or anything, but my movie. 25 minutes later, I went to the kitchen for a mid-movie snack and found ME on the living room floor, on the phone say, "No don't hang up! I still want to talk!" She had been talking to Granny for 25 minutes!!

Today, she called Keith. 2 minutes later, I hear her say, "Daddy? Daddy!?! Where are you daddy? Mommy, I think daddy left me!"

It took ME a 1 1/2 hours to get dressed Wednesday morning. I gave her repeated reminders and by the time she was actually ready to go, I was FRUSTRATED. Every time we return home, she strips...I have no idea why, she just does. This means that if we leave the house more than once, I could she 3 or more hours telling her to get dressed.

Last night I was to tired to battle, argue or listen to excuses. I set the timer, told ME that she had 5 minutes to get dressed...including her shoes. She did it! No whining, complaining or excuses! I was shocked...amazed...and relieved!!!
