Apples of Gold

Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.
Titus 2:3-5

Over the past 6 weeks, I have been attending a Bible Study called Apples of Gold. It has been a fun opportunity for 7 girls to be taught by various wonderful women on important issues that make us better wives, moms, friends and servants of the Lord! We have also learned cooking tips and techniques, have loads of new recipes and tasted many fabulous dishes!!!

Tonight, we had spent a tremendous, kid-free night with our spouse and friends. I am so thankful that these amazing women were willing to take the time to invest in us and challenge us to become the individuals God wants us to be!!!

I am so glad your church has an Apples of Gold program too! I attended Emmanuel's AoG in the fall of 2006...what an amazing program!
