We ventured out in the down pour and usually drop the trash off on the way to the car...and today, the trash became very useful!!! I omitted our visit to the Doctor in our day's agenda!!!
I honestly had no idea the kids needed check-ups before school and completely forgot about immunizations!!! I called last month, thinking that we would schedule an appointment the next day. Today was the first appointment!!! I try to be organized, I like to organize, but am naturally not. I found the kids immunization records, but left them at home!!! We spent 2 1/2 hours at the doctor and had to make 4 phone calls to the school to get their records...the kids were exhausted, I was frustrated and we all wanted to go home. Thankfully, Gid did not need any shots (because he was sooo nervous, biting his nails and asking me a million times, if he would need a shot!) and Emme must have forgotten her previous aversion to needles, because she sat watching the nurse prepare and administer her shot and when it was all over had a major melt-down!!! At least she waited until we were leaving!!! I now need to bring treats to the totally sweet, fabulous school secretaries, who kept me from having to go back to the Docotr tomorrow!!!
