The kids and I said good-bye to Keith and headed to visit a dear friend who recently moved to Narva, Estonia…just 3 hours away.
Emme was sad to say good-bye to daddy.
The kids and I could only get bus tickets as far as Ivangorod, on the Russian boarder and would walk across into Estonia. Due to the Russian holiday, the boarder crossing was a nightmare and the walk was not as easy as we had hoped with 2 tired kids, a huge suitcase, a steep, rocky hill, loads of people and freezing temps! After 45 minutes of waiting with little movement towards passport control, we decided to “cut the line” with our new friend we had made on the bus. In 15 minutes were sitting at Lesa’s apartment sipping tea and feasting on yummy treats!!! I was so thankful to be a mom…it saved us hours at the boarder, not to mention the good chance of hypothermia!!!
Hello Narva!!!
