Istanbul Adventures: Day 2

A morning walk through the Bazaar…

Our adventure to Princes’ Islands had the sole purpose of swimming.  We put on our suits after lunch and followed the arrows that pointed to the BEACH!!!

We were hot and tired and sooo ready to swim.

Only to discover that the entrance fee was 20TL per person (almost $13)…at this point how could we refuse!  Keith did have a mini meltdown when they wanted 20 more lira to use the umbrellas!!!

It was sooo hot that the ice cream was melting faster than we could lick it!!!

After a long day, we were sooo happy to see our friends and let the kids play at the Hippodrome.

We topped the night off with a free concert in the park!!!
