Three years ago, Keith discovered this little restaurant called Montenegro. We went there on our 10th Anniversary in honor of our teammates who transferred there. We loved it and have been going there on every Anniversary since!!!
I must be a traditionalist, because I get the same goat cheese and pear salad and a steak every year.
After a yummy lunch and a quick trip to the grocery store, we picked the kids up from school and took Emme to have a wart removed. Wart removal was not the best way to conclude our 13 year celebration. I imagined going in, the doctor waving her magic laser and poof the wart would be gone {of course photographing every moment}. Reality was more like...going in, the doctor exclaiming how horrible, Emme beginning a major freak-out, screaming at the top of her lungs when she got a shot to numb her foot, smoke and the smell of burnt flesh filling the room, Emme crying, shaking and whimpering, trying every bribe in imaginable to get her to stop crying, while making sure a least a bit of her foot remained attached. Emme's comments ranged from, "Please make her stop!!! She is burning my foot off!!! and It hurts, I can't feel my foot!!!" Emme recovered with blini...I have still yet to recover!!! You know it is bad when I have no pictures to share!!! As we were coming home…I was reminded that my day could have been worse!!! Amazingly, no one was injured in this accident!!!
I am going to end this celebratory day curled up in my PJs, eating DAIM and watching Army Wives!!!
