A sweet friend gave us great hand-me-downs for Emme. She was sooo excited about all her new treasures!!!
We received a darling Christmas dress last year in another treasure bag. She loved the dress and wore it every time Christmas or Party was mentioned. She wore it almost every day. Once Christmas was finally over, I was thrilled to move on to a new favorite outfit and pass the precious and most loved dressed to another little girl. But, Emme was not. Everyday, she continued to beg to wear the dress. She wore it for each and every party into MARCH!!!
A friend’s Birthday Party in February!!!
Sooo, a few weeks ago, the mention of Christmas caused her to remember her all time favorite dress! I said, “That dress is too little and we gave it to another little girl to wear.”
She said, “I love that dress and I want another Christmas dress exactly like that one.”
I did not think much about it again, until I saw her eyes grow big, she paused and pulled out this exact same dress, but in a size 5!!! She said, “My Christmas Dress…it has come back to me!!! I am soooo excited!!!”
Thankfully the darling Minnie Mouse costume distracted her from the inauguration of Christmas in October!!!
