Tuesday Morning~It is Christmas Break, but I think someone forgot to tell the kids! My plan was to watch movies, play Wii and hang out...they want to do School!!! Who do they want to be their teacher...ME!!! I prepared a few lessons last night that on the "schedule" filled the day...in reality was completed by 9:30!!! I have called in reinforcements and we are going to have "recess" with friends for the rest of the day...so at least I can have a minute of peace!!! 17 more days until School resumes!!! :-)
Wednesday Morning~My attempt to live up to Mrs. Stumbo and Ms. Reutina's fantastic teaching abilities has failed and the Sullivan Christmas Home School Classes have taken on a new look...for history, Gideon will be studying about Camelot (reading Christmas in Camelot and watching several movies about Camelot), Emme will be learning about baking, other "fun" domestic classes and gaining a better understanding of Christmas and the arts through film!!! :-) We will also study the importance of electronics and their valuable role as entertainment!!! Quiet reading, recess, nap time and lunch will be scheduled daily!
